Ice Ice Baby is an understatement, it’s soooooooo cold here guys! I’m that person that is ALWAYS cold, so when twenty degrees rolls into town, I bundle up with winter wool

So as most of you who follow me on snapchat know, (aubreyrose740), you’ll remember that I went to Vermont last weekend for a spontaneous family ski trip! One of my favorite things about New England is the ability to road trip it whenever you want!

Whether that means Nantucket in the summer, New Hampshire in the fall, Boston in the summer or Vermont in the winter; you basically just need a car & and a good copilot to take off for the weekend and change it up.

So I often get asked by you guys, how to look stylish while dealing with the harsh tundra & I’m here to help! To be honest, I’m one to totally bundle up like the little brother from A Christmas Story, however over time I’ve created the perfect formula to staying warm and looking slightly stylish but always warm.

Okay so let’s start by covering that head! I often find that my ears, head and nose are the first things to get cold, so look cute & keep that thinker warm with a pom pom beanie. Next it’s all about layers, I take my layers VERY seriously kiddos so while I went for a wool sweater, I didn’t just stop there, I added a wool turtleneck underneath for extra warmth!

Listen to me guys, turtlenecks are a wardrobe essential, I have about fifteen turtlenecks stocked up in every color, just in case a cold front rolls in and a simple wool sweater isn’t enough. I used to hate them but now I’m addicted.

Okay to wrap up your chic tundra look let’s keep those toes warm with wool (shocker) socks! These socks really keep your toes warm and add a touch of preppy to your overall winter tundra look!

I promise you, these style tips will help you stay cute on the slops & warm in between. Okay guys, I’ll be sharing more about my ski trip & sharing some embarassing ski stories on the blog this week, so keep posted.

Happy Mondays, go out and kill it! xx Aubrey
