Traveling has kind of become part of my routine recently, and as I prepare for my upcoming trip to Austin Texas this week, I figured it’s time to chat travel style!

Okay we have all had those days, when wearing sweatpants on a plane is all we can manage and trust me I have had sooooo many of those plane rides.

However whenever I wear sweatpants on my plane ride, I usually end up spending extra time in the hotel picking out a new outfit and getting re-situated, when I could be taking in the destination.

Sooooo if I’m traveling somewhere and know I’ll arrive on the earlier part of the day, I try to wear clothing that I can get off the plane in & get right into taking in the sights.

For the summer, my go to travel uniform has been white jeans and a good rain jacket. Summer showers are something I’ve been getting stuck in a lot recently, so I always try to pack a rain jacket just in case.

I also would recommend traveling with a good tote, like this one from Barrington Gifts that I’m currently obsessed with. A large tote is essential for traveling, you can fit everything you’ll need inside, including a laptop!

Finally my last advice for traveling this summer is to travel light! Whenever I’m traveling for a quick hit, I always travel via carryon. By not checking luggage you save time and possible money, depending on which airline you fly.

Okay that’s all I have for travel style advice & make sure to follow along as I head to Austin on snapchat (aubreyrose740)! xx A.
