Well this week has been a whirlwind, literally. I flew out to San Diego this past weekend, to participate in my school’s graduation.

Honestly, it was slightly weird flying back to SD, since I technically graduated in January, but I was beyond determined to do the whole cap & gown thing. You spend 4 years working towards graduation, so I couldn’t miss the big event.

& who wouldn’t want an excuse to visit San Diego! I flew out with my parents & brother & made a weekend of it. & if you follow me on snapchat (aubreyrose740) then you got to come along to all my favorite San Diego restaurants.

OKAY! Graduation is a serious thing, so let’s have a little ‘life’ talk.

Graduation seems to hit everyone like a ton of bricks (I’m not kidding here). Everyone is a hot mess, because even if you have an amazing job, you are still ending a huge part of your life. Let’s call them the academic years.

I’ve been in school for 16 years out of my 21 year old life. That’s insane. So when the academic years come to an end, It’s an exciting moment to celebrate but also a tad scary. #nomoresummerbreaks

Everyone’s trying to figure out what’s next, which is partly exciting, partly anxiety attack & a large part of just having trust in fate/destiny/or whatever.

This is a big summer of changes for the class of 2016 & I’m so excited to see where everyone ends up come September.

I want to take a second to thank you all for following along & being a part of The Coastal Confidence community, I would never be able to work on my blog full-time, if it wasn’t for you guys.

SO THANKS!

I’m lucky to have each & every one of you! & I can’t wait to share more of my New England lifestyle with you.
